This took place on the day that Pokemon’s Scarlet and Violet “Mew” 151 Blooming Waters was released in GameStop. We got there early and documented the line and the whole experience. Then we drove around checking Targets, Walmarts, and Best Buys until IT HAPPENED! We hit the BIGGEST Prismatic Evolutions restock that South Florida has ever seen which also happened to be my first restock ever! This was a very VERY special day! The entire experience is documented! A lot of friendships were born from this day, some of the people in the video ended up being individuals I now call my friends. Story time! For those who don’t know, I got back into the Pokemon Cards hobby back in September of 2023 when my friend Alex told me about 151. Maybe around October or November of that year, I went to Cool Stuff Games to find people to trade and open packs with. That first day I met a dude named Bryant. We’ve been friends since. So, back to this video. THE day of the massive Prismatic Evolutions restock, I was the first one there to notice the vendor restocking. I immediately called my friend Bryant to go to Target and he was like the 4th to get there. He started talking with the people hovering over the Pokemon Cards while I filmed this video. Those conversations led to a WhatsApp group which then led to a Discord group where we share with each other local restocks. If it wasn’t for this group, a lot of us here in Miami would have no chance due to the severe scalping taking place. To this day, 4/11/25 as I am writing this, the restock Discord is still very active, and deeper friendships have been formed. It’s honestly a pleasure to be surrounded by great Pokemon loving individuals! It’s a small group, but it’s been exceptionally effective in landing Pokemon products for everyone. Honestly though, this video is a gem for anyone willing to have it play in the background while doing chores, homework, work work, bed time, etc. I talk about a bunch of things regarding Driium and Pokemon. It’s some good insight into my head as I rambled for 6 hours sorting bulk, lol. I enjoy filming these videos because they’re super easy to set up and go. However, going through all of that footage to edit away the dead space, so-to-speak, was definitely one for the books! This took me longer than 8 hours to edit and it’s just cuts really, no effects were added.
